Jessica Morrissey is the Operations Manager and Lead Estimator at Bald Hill Builders. Jess has 10 years of combined residential and commercial building experience. Prior to joining BHB, she worked for Suffolk Construction and Toll Brothers, Inc. Jess wears many hats within the BHB organization, and she works very closely with senior management assisting in all aspects of the company’s operational workflow. Jess is the central conduit between the President and VP of Operations and rest of company on information flow and is also the lead cost estimator, supervising costing reviews during the bid process.
Some of her other tasks include: managing all of BHB’s internal bookkeeping duties and accounts receivable, overseeing the internal office staff, corporate insurance administration, IT coordination, HR matters, and working with outside legal counsel as needed.
Her professional experience at Suffolk includes working on the customized 256 residential living units at the Hebrew SeniorLife NewBridge on the Charles project in Dedham, MA. For Toll Brothers, Jess worked as the Office Manager and handled multiple jobs at the same time for 3 construction offices, including, but not limited to, all A/P invoicing, contract coding, and working with corporate headquarters to ensure all matters are dealt with in a timely manner. She worked with construction managers to procure permits necessary for all jobs. Jess would communicate and coordinate with all subcontractors on a daily basis regarding invoicing, scheduling and insurance requirements, compose and issue all work orders for the home construction process, and partner with management for the calculation of take-offs and the estimating of construction costs.
Jess is a graduate of Wayland High School and is a Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design Accredited Professional (LEED-AP). She also has her OSHA 10 card and is a Notary Public. Jess enjoys triathlons, yoga and hiking. She lives in Norfolk, MA with her husband and son.
